Northeast Iowa Farmers Markets are the most direct way consumers can purchase local and fresh food from producers.  Northeast Iowa Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) is a huge supporters of local food and believe local producers are a cornerstone for out local economies.  Northeast Iowa Farmers Markets are located in the seven county area that is served by Northeast Iowa RC&D.  Northeast Iowa RC&D serves Allamakee, Buchanan, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Howard and Winneshiek Counties.  If you or anyone you know is looking at starting up a Farmers Market in your community or looking to sell at a local farmers market please contact Northeast Iowa RC&D and they will be more than happy to work with you to accomplish these goals.
